Color Palette

We draw inspiration from the BookWish logo (open book + shooting star) but we do not use gradients in the app UI. All UI surfaces use solid colors derived from this palette.

Core Colors​

Ink Blue​

Primary text, top-level navigation elements, key icons and some buttons.

Parchment​

Main page background; the "paper" the content rests on.

Amber Star​

Accent color for primary actions, small badges, progress indicators.

Teal Edge​

Secondary accent for selected states, chips, and subtle highlights.

Coral Spine​

Gentle "attention" color for warnings and active states (not full error).

Usage Guidelines​

  • Use Parchment as the base background for most screens.
  • Use white or a slightly lighter Parchment variant for cards on top of Parchment.
  • Reserve Amber and Teal for accents; don't flood entire screens with them.
  • Gradients are for the logo and marketing art only, not for regular UI.
