What to Look For

Active discussions: Check if members are posting regularly

Description clarity: Well-organized clubs have clear purposes and expectations

Troubleshooting

Can't Find a Club

  • Try the Search function in the Read tab
  • Ask on the main Share feed if anyone knows of clubs
  • Consider creating your own

Club Inactive

  • Politely ask in the discussion if others want to revive it
  • Suggest a new book to read together
  • If no response, join a more active club or start your own

Moderation Issues

  • Report inappropriate content using the report button
  • Contact club moderators if available
  • Leave the club if it's not well-moderated
Getting the Most from Book Clubs

Join 2-3 clubs to start - enough for variety without overwhelming your feed. Actively participate in discussions, even if just to like posts and add brief reactions. The more you engage, the more rewarding the experience becomes.

Best Practices

Start small: Join one club, get comfortable, then add more.

Set reading goals: Use clubs to stay accountable to finishing books.

Mix it up: Join clubs with different focuses to discover diverse books.

Be consistent: Regular participation builds stronger connections.

Lead discussions: Ask questions to spark conversation.

Share thoughtfully: Quality comments beat frequent shallow ones.

Support the community: Like posts, welcome new members, reply to discussions.
